1. If your work is here without permission
Send us a takedown notice and we will act on it. We do not require a court order, and we do not charge for this. If the notice is complete, we remove or restrict the content while we assess it.
2. What a notice needs
- The exact URL of every item you want removed. A profile link is not enough.
- A description of the original work and where it can be seen, if it is published elsewhere.
- Your name and a contact address we can reply to.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your signature, typed or written.
Send it to hello@khookup.com, with the items above.
3. If you appear in the content
You do not need to own the copyright to have content of you removed. If you are in a photo or video that was published without your agreement, report it as non-consensual content instead — that route is faster, and we take it down first and investigate afterwards.
4. What happens next
We remove or restrict the content, tell the advertiser what was removed and why, and give them the notice with your contact details withheld unless the law requires otherwise.
5. Counter-notice
An advertiser who believes the removal was wrong can send a counter-notice identifying the content, stating under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We pass it to you and may restore the content if no legal action follows within the statutory period.
6. Repeat infringers
Accounts that attract repeated valid notices are closed.
7. False notices
Knowingly filing a false takedown to damage a competitor is itself unlawful, and we refer clear cases to the advertiser affected so they can act on it.
