Terms of Service

1. Who can use KHookup

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to view adult material where you live, whichever is higher. We check your date of birth when you sign up and we may ask for identity documents at any time. A false date of birth is grounds for immediate closure of the account.

2. What KHookup is

KHookup is a directory. Advertisers publish a listing; visitors read it and may contact the advertiser on WhatsApp. KHookup is not a party to anything that happens between them, and it does not provide, arrange or guarantee any service.

3. Your account

One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what is done through your account until you report it as compromised.

4. Listings and how long they last

• A listing needs at least 5 photos of you and a short video.
• You choose how long a listing stays live: one week, two weeks or one month. It is one payment, never a subscription, and it does not renew by itself. The days start when your listing goes live, not when you pay.
• Every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and again when it is changed. We can send a listing back, or take it down, if it breaks these terms.
• You must own every photo and video you upload, and everyone in them must have agreed to appear.
• Contact details in the text of a listing, such as a phone number or a link, are not allowed. Visitors reach you through the WhatsApp button.

5. Payments

You pay for a listing by sending its price by MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money to the number shown on your payment page, and we confirm each payment by hand. Listings are the only thing KHookup charges. Visitors are never charged, and nobody working for KHookup will ever ask a visitor for money, or ask you to pay a number that is not on your payment page.

6. Content rules

The following are banned outright, and the first three are reported to the authorities:

• Anyone under 18, or content presented as involving anyone under 18.
• Content published without the consent of everyone in it.
• Trafficking, coercion, or any sign that a person is not acting freely.
• Photos or videos of someone other than the advertiser.
• Violence, or content that shows real harm.
• Asking visitors for money before they have met you.

7. Closing an account

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or that the law requires us to close. You can close your own account from your settings at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We will tell you before a material change takes effect. Using KHookup after that date means you accept the updated terms.
