Do I need an account?
No. You can browse and chat on WhatsApp without one. You are not charged for any of it.
Why does the chat open in WhatsApp?
Because it is where people already are. We do not keep your messages, and we never see them.
Someone asked me to pay to unlock a number.
That is a scam. Visitors never pay KHookup for anything. Report the listing from its page.
Advertisers
What does it cost?
You pay once for the time you want: one week, two weeks or one month. It is not a subscription and it never renews by itself. The prices are on the pricing page, and they are the only thing you pay.
How do I pay?
Choose how long, then send the price by MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money to the number shown on your payment page. We confirm the payment by hand, and your listing goes to review once we have.
Which number do I pay?
Only the number shown on your payment page when you are signed in. If someone sends you a different number, in a chat or through an agent, it is not ours: do not pay it, and report it.
How many photos do I need?
At least 5 clear photos of you, each at least 600 pixels wide, and one short video.
When does my listing go live?
After a person has checked it, usually within a day. Your days start when it goes live, so the wait is never taken out of what you paid for.
Can I change my listing?
Yes, any time. A live listing goes back to review when you change it, and keeps the days you have paid for.
Where is my number shown?
Nowhere. Visitors tap a button and reach you on WhatsApp; the number is never printed on the page.
What is the verified badge?
A badge for advertisers who sent an identity document and a photo of themselves holding it. It is optional, and verified listings are shown first.
Payments
I sent the money and nothing has happened.
Payments are confirmed by hand, so it can take a little while. If your listing has not moved on, contact us with your WhatsApp number, the amount and the transaction ID from your mobile money message.
Can I get a refund?
See the refund policy. In short: if we could not publish your listing, you are refunded.
